In response to Karen's recent post on play:
I love and miss how children exude that pure effervescence of playfulness. Thankfully I have family, friends and co-workers who help me laugh over silly things and pull me out to play.
I was trying to find a quote I had from a book on design and play that essentially said, we are most human when we play. The best I could find was this one:
Each day, and the living of it, has to be a conscious creation in which discipline and order are relieved with some play and pure foolishness.
- May Sarton, American poet (1912-1995)
